Hi! I am Mackenzie Johnston-Green, the artist behind Wayward Bloom Ceramics.
What started as a way to create unique centerpieces for my wedding quickly turned into an exciting business venture once I realized how much I missed creating! My full time job is an art teacher, and while I love facilitating learning in my students, I really missed creating art for myself. It started off with flasks, mugs, and steins, but slowly I have been adding more to my collection.
Each piece is a unique and hand built item. Even if two pieces are similar, no two pieces are truly alike, which only adds to the excitement with my work! We try to focus on whimsical, organic, and feminist designs.
With the help of my wonderful husband, Dustin, we have created a business that not only focuses on quality, one of a kind products, but we also try to support causes that are close to our hearts. We have given donations to Planned Parenthood of Greater Ohio and will keep providing support and love to the voiceless.
